Description
The Spider Leg Dining Table Knock Down by Benoa is a steel table base with a matrix-shaped construction, black powder-coated, designed for oval, rectangular or elliptical dining table tops. The core advantage: a stable, centrally placed leg that leaves plenty of legroom.
Because this base is fixed to the centre of the table top, extra room for the legs is created all around the table. Handy if an extra guest joins unexpectedly, as adding a chair is easy without a table leg getting in the way. In a dining room or open-plan kitchen diner this creates a calm, tidy look beneath the table.
The base is made of steel and finished with a black powder coating, a finish that withstands daily use. On the underside of the leg there are adjustable feet, which easily compensate for small unevenness in the floor so that the table remains stable. Four mounting plates ensure a firm connection with the table top and contribute to the overall sturdiness of the construction.
The sleek, industrial character of the black steel gives the spider leg a calm yet recognisable silhouette, one that lends itself to a variety of table tops without demanding attention.
