Description
Oak veneer in a deep Basalt finish gives the Rivano bookcase its dark brown, refined look. The rounded corners and flowing lines keep the front calm and harmonious, without sharp edges that can make a room feel hard. The lacquered finish lets the wood grain show through nicely and feels smooth to the touch.
Open shelves alternate with enclosed storage space. This lets you display books and objects while less photogenic items disappear behind a door. With a width of 170 cm and a height of 215 cm, the bookcase comfortably fills most of a wall, while a depth of 45 cm means it also fits a narrower living room or hallway.

Frequently asked questions
What material is the Rivano Basalt bookcase made of?
The Rivano Basalt bookcase by Livingfurn is made of oak veneer with a lacquered finish in the Basalt colour, a deep dark brown tone.
What are the dimensions of the Rivano Basalt bookcase 170cm?
The Rivano Basalt bookcase by Livingfurn is 170 cm wide, 45 cm deep and 215 cm high, and weighs 112 kg.
Does the Rivano Basalt bookcase have open and closed shelving?
Yes, the Rivano Basalt bookcase combines open shelves for displaying books and accessories with enclosed storage space for less decorative items.
How do I care for the Rivano Basalt bookcase?
The Rivano Basalt bookcase by Livingfurn should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth.
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
