Measure your television and devices
Measure the actual width of your television and the position of its feet. The size in inches refers to the screen diagonal. Compare the internal compartment dimensions with your soundbar, games console or receiver. Allow room for plugs and the ventilation clearance specified by the device manufacturer. Check the viewing height from your normal seat.
Compare sizes and layouts
Consider Brent at 160 cm, Madison Sand at 210 cm and the wall-mounted Excellent Sand at 240 cm. These offer different sizes and designs. Check the layout, mounting requirements and available colours for each unit.
You can also compare mango wood TV units. A wall-mounted TV unit needs a suitable wall and fixings. Before visiting our Enschede showroom, ask which model and finish are currently on display.
Frequently asked questions
How wide should my TV unit be?
Measure the actual television width and the distance between its feet. The inch measurement is the screen diagonal. Check the unit's weight limit and leave space beside the screen if you prefer that look.
How do I choose the height?
Check the screen height from your usual seat. For a freestanding television, consider both the unit height and the TV stand. Wall mounting lets you choose the screen height independently.
Will my soundbar or games console fit?
Compare the compartment's internal width, height and depth with the device. Allow room for plugs and the required ventilation. A soundbar also needs unobstructed speakers.
Can a wall-mounted TV unit go on any wall?
That depends on the wall construction, the loaded unit's weight and the fixings. Follow the model's installation instructions and have the wall assessed if you are unsure.
Can I see the unit in the showroom?
Ask which model and finish are on display before travelling to Enschede. The online collection and current showroom display can differ.
