Description
You sink in a little deeper than with an ordinary dining chair. The backrest of the Cupidon is higher than you would expect from an armchair of this size, so your neck and shoulders stay supported if you linger at the table, say over coffee after dinner. With a seat height that suits a standard dining table, the chair slides in easily alongside it, but set it apart and it works just as well as a reading chair in the corner of a room.
The tub shape wraps around your back and sides without making the chair feel bulky. At a compact 66 cm wide, it fits into rooms with limited space without you having to compromise on seating comfort. You choose the upholstery yourself: the Cupidon by Agpol is upholstered to order, with more than 300 colours and nine fabric groups to choose from.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Cupidon armchair suitable for?
The Cupidon by Agpol is a compact tub armchair that works both as a dining armchair at the table and as a separate reading chair in a seating area, thanks to its seat height and slightly higher backrest.
What are the dimensions of the Cupidon armchair?
The Cupidon armchair by Agpol measures 66 cm wide, 71 cm deep and 76 cm high.
What colours is the Cupidon armchair available in?
The Cupidon by Agpol is upholstered to order and is available in more than 300 colours across nine fabric groups.
Why does the Cupidon armchair have a higher backrest?
The Cupidon by Agpol has a higher backrest than most dining armchairs, giving extra support to the neck and shoulders when sitting for longer periods.
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
