Description
On a sideboard or cabinet, a low, wide bowl needs some breathing room around it. The Viro measures 35.5 by 35.5 centimetres and stays low at a height of 9 centimetres, so it sits comfortably alongside vases, books or candles without blocking the view. The mustard colour works as a warm accent against wood, linen or stone, and stands out most when placed among darker or neutral materials.
The bowl is made of glazed earthenware. Because the glaze is applied by hand, slight colour variations and small irregularities appear in the surface. This is part of the making process and means every piece looks a little different.
