Sizing advice for the round dining table

The Bailar round dining table comes with two bases, including a version with a solid pedestal. A round table is a lovely choice when you want guests to sit close together and want to keep circulation in the room smooth, because there are no sharp corners. Base and made to measure

The choice of base strongly determines the mood: a solid pedestal gives a substantial, stately feel, while a more open base looks lighter. The Bailar bookcase is available made to measure, in a different width, height or depth, so it fits your alcove or your wall exactly. Caring for teak

Teak is a low maintenance wood. Wiping dry or with a slightly damp cloth is enough for day to day care. If you want to feed the warm colour extra, you can optionally treat the teak with teak oil once a year. In outdoor use, untreated teak naturally weathers to a silver grey patina; with oil you keep the golden brown tone instead. So you decide how your piece changes with time.
