Solid teak with hand-carved details

Teak is known for its warm colour, dense grain and hard-wearing character. In Intan, that wood is enriched with hand-carved work: decorative carved patterns applied by hand. Because this is handwork, every piece is unique and carries the marks of craftsmanship. Some pieces are finished in black, which brings the relief of the carving out all the more.

Choosing the right size

A wall cabinet or sideboard is often an eye-catcher in the room. So measure the available wall width in advance and allow for the height, so the piece sits in good proportion to the space. Also think about the room you need to open doors and drawers. If you are unsure about the proportions, our consultants in the showroom are happy to look at it with you.

Caring for teak with carving

Dust the hand-carved details regularly, for example with a soft, dry cloth or a soft brush to reach the grooves as well. Wipe the smooth surface with a slightly damp cloth and rub it dry. Do not use harsh cleaners and do not let moisture stand in the carving. That way both the teak and the fine carved work stay beautiful.
