Description
Above a long dining table or a large kitchen island, this Riva really comes into its own. With a fixture measuring 145 by 55 centimetres, the lamp spans the tabletop generously without blocking sightlines across it. The oval shape follows the line of the table and keeps things calmer than a strict rectangular pendant light would. Eight light points hang at varying heights, keeping the overall look playful rather than strictly symmetrical.
The distribution of light is well considered. Five E27 fittings hold the decorative light sources you see hanging from below, while three GU10 spots of 50 mm provide directional light onto the tabletop. That way you do not have to choose between atmosphere and usable light, you get both. Connect the lamp to an external dimmer and you can slide effortlessly from dinner into conversation without switching anything off.

Frequently asked questions
What table size suits the Ztahl Riva pendant light?
The Ztahl Riva pendant light, with its oval fixture measuring 145 by 55 centimetres, is designed to hang above a long dining table or a large kitchen island, so its light points cover the full length of the surface.
How many light points does the Ztahl Riva have and how are they arranged?
The Ztahl Riva has eight light points: five E27 fittings for decorative, visible light and three GU10 spots of 50 mm that provide directional light onto the tabletop.
Can the Ztahl Riva be dimmed?
Yes, the Ztahl Riva pendant light can be connected to an external dimmer, allowing you to adjust the brightness from bright task lighting to a softer evening glow.
What colours is the Ztahl Riva pendant light available in?
The Ztahl Riva, part of the Riva series, is made of metal and available in black, grey and sand.
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
