E14 Light Bulbs
White light or warm light, dimmable or not: from the outside you see little of a bulb with an E14 fitting, but it completely determines the mood your lamp gives off. At Mokana Meubelen in Enschede you will find the right E14 bulbs for your pendant lights, floor lamps, table lamps and wall lights, so every lamp gives exactly the light that suits your interior.

What is an E14 bulb
The E in E14 stands for Edison, the 14 for the diameter of the screw fitting in millimetres. It is the small screw fitting, the narrower sibling of the E27. An E14 bulb therefore only fits a lamp with an E14 fitting, not an E27. So always check first which fitting your lamp needs before you order. E14 turns up a lot in mood lamps, wall lights, smaller pendant lights and table lamps where a compact source is wanted.
Filament, shape and look
The filament of your bulb is available in a bar shape or a spiral shape. Certainly on the larger bulbs, that shape is clearly visible and becomes part of the picture. Within both the bar and the spiral there are further differences in shape and size, so choose a filament you like the look of and that suits the character of the lamp. With an open or transparent shade, the shape of the filament counts for extra.
LED, dimmable and the warmth of the light
Many of our bulbs are LED bulbs, a trend that has been continuing for years. LED is energy saving, good for the environment, maintenance free and has a long service life. If you want to be able to decide how bright the lamp burns, choose a dimmable bulb. That way the mood is in your hands: a little more light for reading, or dimmed during a film. Check the bulb specifications for the available dimmer settings.
Fitting, brightness and colour temperature
Not every bulb fits every fitting, and colour and brightness differ too. With fittings it is either an E14 or an E27, and they do not fit each other's holder. Brightness is expressed in lumens: the higher the lumen count, the more powerful the source. For the colour of the light, Kelvin is the measure: a lower value gives warmer, cosier light, a higher value a cooler, whiter light.
