Description
The Montaigne is an atmospheric sofa from By-Boo, upholstered in the Blim fabric in a striking purple colour. A true eye-catcher for those who want to give their living room some character.
Thanks to its generous seat depth, the Montaigne invites you to sink in and relax for a long time, while the sturdy construction offers a load capacity of no less than 360 kg. This combines comfort with a robust finish that can take a knock.
The purple tone of the Blim upholstery brings warmth and depth to your interior and works well as an accent piece in an otherwise calm room.

Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions of the Montaigne Purple Sofa?
The Montaigne Purple Sofa is 218 cm wide, 96 cm deep and 72 cm high. The seat depth is 61 cm and the seat height is 44 cm.
What material is the Montaigne Purple Sofa made of and how do you maintain it?
The sofa is upholstered in Blim fabric in purple. Maintenance consists of regular vacuuming.
How much weight can the Montaigne Purple Sofa carry?
The Montaigne Purple Sofa has a sturdy construction with a maximum load capacity of 360 kg, while the sofa itself weighs 49.2 kg.
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
