Description
The Tafelblad Dubbel Live Edge Suar is a table top by Benoa, made from suar wood with the natural tree edge, also known as live edge, on both long sides. This makes each top unique in shape and structure.
As the basis for a dining table or side table, this top brings the raw, unpolished beauty of the tree indoors. Because the live edge remains visible on both sides, the natural growth form of the wood is shown to full advantage and the table takes on a robust, artisanal character that stands out in the living room or dining room.
Suar wood is a natural material that continues to move after processing. Due to the drying process and changes in temperature, shrinkage cracks, small splits and irregularities can occur. This is part of the nature of the wood and actually enhances the lively, organic character of the top. As a result, no two tops are exactly alike.
