Waterfall desk in solid suar wood
This waterfall desk is made from a single solid piece of suar wood, with the top running seamlessly down to the floor on one side: the distinctive waterfall technique that you also find in our larger waterfall tree trunk tables. The result is a table with a spectacular end grain: you look straight onto the cross section of the trunk, with all the growth rings, grain and natural cracks that tell the story of the tree.
With a size of approximately 200 × 100/105 cm, this piece is versatile: as a statement desk in your study, as a dining table for four to six people, or as a distinctive meeting table in the office. The robust waterfall side acts as a supporting leg, while on the other side you choose a leg to suit your taste.

Suar wood: no two tops the same
Suar wood (also known as Suar, Monkeypod or Raintree) is a tropical wood species from Southeast Asia that is known for its wide trunks and spectacular grain patterning. The colour gradient runs from warm honey blond at the outer edge to deep chocolate brown in the heart: and this waterfall desk shows it at its finest: the end grain reveals the full cross section of the trunk.
Each table differs in exact dimensions, colour, grain and natural characteristics such as cracks and irregularities. These are not imperfections but rather the details that make your desk one of a kind. You always receive photos of the specific piece available to you in advance.

Frequently asked questions
Do you carry the furniture into the room?
Yes, where that is possible. With enough space, a wide enough passage and a lift if there is one, our own drivers put the piece down exactly where you want it. If that cannot be done, we deliver to the front door. Not sure it will fit through your hallway or stairwell? Tell us before the delivery date and we will look at it with you.
Is this piece assembled for me?
What you order in the webshop is delivered but not assembled. Buy the same piece in our store in Enschede and our drivers do place and assemble it on site, and take the packaging away with them.
What does delivery cost?
Within 35 kilometres of Enschede we deliver free of charge. Beyond that, anywhere in the Netherlands you pay 50 euro per order rather than per item, so a sofa and a dining table together cost the same as one of them. Belgium is 100 euro. From 1,000 euro we deliver free within the Netherlands; solid tree trunk tables are excluded from both arrangements because they are too heavy. For Starfurn, Livingfurn and Brix delivery is already free from 250 euro, and for Richmond Interiors from 150 euro.
When will my order be delivered?
The delivery time for this piece is shown with the product on this page. Once it is in, we get in touch to agree a delivery slot together, based on where you live and our delivery route. You are not simply assigned a day you had no say in.
Can I collect the order myself?
Yes. You can collect your order at our store at Hogelandsingel 49 in Enschede. We contact you first, as soon as it is ready for you.
